Military Veterans Preparing for College

A group of military veterans gathered on campus yesterday for a preview of a summer academic bridge program that opens today. Sponsored by Veterans Upward Bound, the academic bridge program includes classes are designed to assist the veteran who is interested in obtaining a post-secondary education. Topics will include English, Conversational Spanish, Math, Computer Literacy, Career Counseling, and The College Experience.
