The cost of books and supplies can vary greatly from term to term. Also, different programs have different requirements. Students in the engineering technologies or nursing, for example, generally will spend more on supplies and equipment than the business oriented programs.
The first school term usually is the most expensive one, as students purchase books and supplies at that time that they also use in later terms. The average expense for books and supplies is $350-$400 per term.
