What are The Summit’s Current Features?

Half price wine selections offered every Friday night.

For guests who wish to enjoy a great bottle of wine, The Summit will also make a selection of its copious wine list available for half price ... every Friday night. Wine pairings are available with each course for an additional charge. Tax and gratuity are not included.

Gallo Winery is the world's largest family-owned winery and the largest exporter of California wine. Marketing Manager Samantha Smith will work with Summit Executive Chef Sean Kagy and his students to present five courses highlighting Gallo’s fine wine offerings.

Darci Kent Winery creates single vineyard wines from Livermore Valley, California. These wines are said to express the personality and passion of each family grower. Come taste for yourself as Darci Kent, fifth generation Owner/Vintner and Artist visits the Summit.

1 Night, 12 Kitchens

May 1, 2016

Sample food from more than 20 of the region's best restaurants in one exciting evening. The 12th Annual 1 Night, 12 Kitchens generates funds for Midwest Culinary Institute scholarships.  Guests mingle with the region’s top chefs (many of whom are MCI grads), investigate MCI’s spacious teaching kitchens, participate in the silent auction and enjoy a delicious sampling of entrée dishes, salads, veggies, desserts and wines.

Farrah Felten-Jolley and her husband Stefan represent the sixth generation of the Felten family, owner / winegrowers of Klinker Brick Winery in Lodi, California. Their passion for wine, combined with the passion of the Midwest Culinary Institute’s student chefs, will create a meal with a memorable depth of flavors.

The Summit’s Annual Seafood Festival will move indoors to the Summit dining room and feature Alaskan King Crab legs, Oysters, Smoked Salmon, Prime Rib (for a Surf & Turf option), and made to order Caesar Salad.  Full bar, liquor, beer wine and regular food menu options will also be available.
